Yesterday, March 31, Argentina commemorated National Water Day.
The date originated in 1963 during the first National Water Congress in Córdoba and was officially established in 1972. Since then, it has aimed to highlight the importance of water resources and their management.
In the context of climate change, water is becoming a strategic resource. While renewable, it is limited, fragile, and vulnerable.
Currently, only 3% of global water is freshwater, reinforcing the need for more efficient use.
Its management directly impacts productive sectors and system resilience.
