{"id":2187,"date":"2020-10-14T15:07:38","date_gmt":"2020-10-14T15:07:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.genesisarg.com\/?p=2187"},"modified":"2020-11-09T15:13:03","modified_gmt":"2020-11-09T15:13:03","slug":"genesis-pre-selected-for-the-green-recovery-challenge-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.genesisarg.com\/en\/novedades\/genesis-pre-selected-for-the-green-recovery-challenge-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"GENESIS pre selected for the Green Recovery Challenge Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Buenos Aires, October 14, 2020<\/p>\n<p>GENESIS project (consortium formed by CARBON TRUST, GENESIS and MEXICO2) &#8220;Greening the Financial Sector in Argentina, to combat Climate Change and Promote Inclusi\u00f3n&#8221; was pre-selected among more than 360 projects in 10 countries all over the world and more than 10 projects presented in Argentina, to pass to the second and last round of the grant delivered by the Green Recovery Challenge Fund.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has partnered with ICF Consulting to deliver the Green Recovery Challenge Fund under the UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) programme funded by UK International Climate Finance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The UK PACT Green Recovery Challenge Fund will disburse \u00a312 million over two years on projects that will help countries accelerate their low-carbon transition. It will focus on projects that maximise emissions reductions in ODA-eligible countries across Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia.
